Learn how to connect the Kimai free online tracking software with the Kimai Mobile app via an API key.
Click on “Create a new workspace”.
Type any name for your project or task that suits what you’d like to track.
Enter the URL of the website in which you were hosting the open-source time tracking software.
Type in your username. It can be found in your profile in the Kimai Mobile Server. The username usually looks like this: John.Doe
Choose any color for this workspace.
Lastly, enter the API key.
Go to the Kimai browser version
Navigate to your profile icon and click on it.
In the menu it will show the option “API”.
Type any strong password into the fields and save it.
Enter your newly saved password into the Kimai Mobile App and now create a new workspace.
